In this week’s Metasalon we’ll be joined by my dear friends Julie Sykes, Stephanie Knight, and Steve Thorne.

Our conversation will explore research and the state of the art around immersive, community-based, playful learning.

All three guests develop, research, and write on games and playful learning through immersive experiences in ways that put learners in contact with community. 

We’re so excited to host this open conversation with them, because in the Metasalon, we’re focused on exploring ways to engage our broader community in improvisational, public learning adventures. And, we’re excited to hear insights from these designers and researchers about how to use structured unpredictability and other tools and techniques to support open-minded, playful, and community based learning.
