Eye of the Storm - Contemplative Art
Eye of the Storm - Contemplative Art
Storms are raging all around, affecting ourselves, those we care about, and our collective sense of serenity and stability, but in the eye of the storm it is silent and still - even if only for a moment.
In this series, Persian artist Mitra Nite places viewers in the eye of the storm and extends an invitation to feel settled and find respite from the chaos and confusion swirling about. The works inspire memories and invite meditations on the forever dance of order and entropy.
Artwork is printed on archival bright white watercolor paper. All prints are 12” x 16”.
Mitra Nite is a multimedia artist and graphic designer with a background in art history, painting, and classical music. Her current work combines illustration, photography, and typography with a minimalistic outlook. The geometric forms grounding her work are rooted in her Persian heritage. Drawing elements from the naturally occurring and human-made, she continually experiments with combining abstract and figurative forms to create unexpected juxtapositions.
