Emotional awareness, collaboration, and creativity are quickly becoming our species’ most crucial resources as we adapt to an increasing rate of societal, technological, and environmental change (for more see: http://www.p21.org/our-work/p21-framework).
My work at the University of Oregon’s Center for Applied Second Language Studies (CASLS) focuses on desiging and developing resources for intercultural and interpersonal learning—mostly centered around language learning—to help learners adapt to a world-order in flux.
One exciting piece of this work involves cultivating a network of professionals working in design, technology, and learning and language science. Our collaborative activity focuses on sharing knowledge and practical know-how to support current and future generations in becoming articulate, intentional, insightful, collaborative, and self-aware human beings.
Below is my—squirrly and ever-evolving—digital curriculum vitae.
